This commercial & industrial energy storage project serves a large-scale poultry farm in Nigeria, powering core breeding equipment including shed temperature control, ventilation and automatic feeding systems. The local grid has an unstable power supply. Frequent outages easily cause poultry stress, rising mortality and declining egg production, while the farm’s previous diesel backup incurred high fuel costs and complicated maintenance. The project adopts a solar-storage integrated solution with 65kWp PV, 50kW PCS and 197kWh Vestwoods LFP batteries. It delivers seamless power supply during outages to keep breeding equipment running, reducing poultry mortality and production losses. PV power is generated for self-use to replace diesel generation and cut fuel costs, while stable voltage output protects breeding equipment from damage.
